I have been associated with this school for the past 27 years. I was appointed by the District Education Office as a Chairman of the Management Committee in 1995. However, the school, that had started pretty well, wasn’t in a great shape when I had joined. There were multiple problems and the school was on the verge of being collapsed. Financial issues, high turnover of teachers and students, disciplinary conduct were some of the challenges the school management was dealing with then. To restore peace and stability in the school and ensure standards required for a well-functioning school were in place, Mr Chudamani Marasini, who was serving as Deputy Headmaster at Siddhartha Vanasthali School was nominated as the principal. In his leadership, the school got a new life and today, it stands as a not-for-profit school with excellent academic and non-academic results. I’m proud to be a part of the school for the last two decades and I wish the very best for its future.
My journey with MMHS started as a parent, with my daughter enrolled in the first batch of the school in 1985. I was also a member of the management board until 1993 when I was appointed as the school Principal. The school was struggling to survive then with a number of complications. With everyone’s support, trust, and dedication, we have reached this stage; and when I look back, it gives me immense happiness that we have come a long way with many success stories. Educational institutions rely on a number of factors that lead to its stability. Trust of the parents, dedication of the teachers, perseverance of the non-teaching staff, and diligence of the students have jointly helped the student prosper. I thank every one of you for helping us achieve our vision and mission.
